A 4 hour workshop where you will learn the basics of making a mokume gane pendant. Originally an ancient metal working technique originating in japan it has been adapted by polymer artists to create a lovely lamination in the clay. We will be doing a similar pendant to the image shown in the photo, you get to choose the colours and patterning at the workshop.

We will then turn the veneer into a lovely domed pendant.

You will learn how to add a bail, back and finish your pendant to a professional finish.

Finally you will string your pendant and make yourself a lovely necklace to wear home.

If time permits we can make a pair of matching earrings to compliment your pendant.

All the clay, materials and equipment will be provided for the duration of the course.
