If you already have the basics covered in polymer clay I also teach workshops on the following techniques.
These are best as 1:1 or up to 3 people depending on the level of polymer clay experience. There are 7 different classes you can take. These are in person classes although I can offer a Zoom option too.
Classes available
- Crackle - 6 variations 4-6 hours
- Flower Canes - basic petal canes 2-4 hours builidng a basic petal cane with stamens
- Kaleidoscope canes - milifiori technique 2-4 hours
- Mokume Gane - traditional and Ghost 4 hours A 4 hour workshop where you will learn the basics of making a mokume gane pendant. Originally an ancient metal working technique originating in japan it has been adapted by polymer artists to create a lovely lamination in the clay.
- Mica Shift - traditional and shadow shift A 4 hour workshop where you will learn the basics of making a mica shift. In the workshop will work with metallic and pearlised clays to create these shimmering illusion beads.
- Sutton Slice - traditional and crackle variation 4-6 hours
- Sanding and finishing - adding bails and findings & finishing your work to a professional standard, demonstrating how to provide secure, discreat bails and completing each piece so that it is balanced and comfortable to wear. 2-4 hours
Allow 4-6 hours per session. Each workshop is bespoke and set to your own needs and experience and can be adapted accordingly.
All your tools and materials are provided.

What’s included: A selection of tea, freshly brewed coffee, biscuits and delicious cake will be provided. If you have any specific dietary requirements or allergies, please feel free to bring along your own provisions/milk alternatives etc please feel free to bring your own lunch if the workshop is more than 4 hours long.
And of course you take your wonderful creations from the day.
